The Pearl Harbor reference reminds me of something that I thought of a few days ago:
Prior to the election and again in recent days, WikiLeaks has said that it received the DNC emails from insiders.
Today, the former British ambassador to Uzbekistan and associate of Julian Asssange, said that he, personally, accepted the DNC information from an intermediary of 'disgruntled Democrats who were upset with the Clinton Foundation corruption and the DNC's rigging of the primaries against Bernie Sanders'. He also said that they were legally in possession of those emails before they leaked them to him.
If you think back to last March or April, one Democratic Congresswoman went public with her disgust of Debbie Wasserman-Schultz & Co's machinations to crown Hillary Rodham Clinton. She also RESIGNED from her leadership position at the DNC in protest.
Her name is Tulsi Gabbard of Hawaii.
She was a fervent supporter of Bernie Sanders.
She would have had access to the DNC emails.
After she went public and resigned, the DNC and media claws really came out for her. All kinds of allegations were made and it was claimed that she was nothing more than an attention whore looking to promote herself.
She has never backed down and, in fact, visited Trump Tower a few weeks ago.
A conspiracy-minded individual could easily make an honest argument that she and, perhaps, her fellow travellers were behind the DNC leaks. DWS lost her job. Donna Brazile was discredited. The rigging of the primaries became public knowledge. Hillary Clinton never became Madame President.
Mission accomplished???

Here's the elephant in the room that all of those barking 'The Russians are coming! The Russians are coming!' either are too dumb to realise or know and don't care.
If Putin could hack into the DNC and John Podesta's emails, he surely could have hacked into Hillary Clinton's homebrew server, which apparently was only 'protected from hacking' by the Secret Service agents protecting her husband at their Chappaqua home...according to Hillary Clinton. Indeedy! The physical presence of some bodies were enough to protect her unsecured, unauthorised, and illegal private server, which contained highly confidential national security secrets, from Putin's evil hackers.
If Putin is really behind all of this because of a 'grievance' against Hillary Clinton and/or a desire to 'expose the corruption' of the American political system, then why wouldn't he have procured Hillary's missing emails and released them?
